Best Park

Reid Park

It's really quite amazing how much good stuff is crammed into the area between 22nd Street, Country Club Road, Randolph Way and Camino Campestre. You have the beautiful rose garden, the zoo (With elephants! At least for now!), an aquatic center, a dog park, a mildly disgusting pond, a kids' playground, barbecue areas, soccer fields (pending the ever-important elephant decision), Hi Corbett Park (The spring training home of the Colorado Rockies, one of the most decrepit baseball teams this year!), softball fields and lots of grass. Lots and lots of grass. Plus, if you get hungry or something, there's a Food City caddy-corner from the park at 22nd and Country Club. Reid Park may not be Central Park, but it's pretty damn special nonetheless.
