Best Middle Eastern

Sinbad's

Nestled in an alcove on University Boulevard is Tucson's favorite Middle Eastern restaurant. This top-notch eatery has imported some of the finest vegetarian and meat dishes from the Middle East, including hummus, beef and chicken shawerma, babagannouge and falafel. Sinbad's offers several authentic and splendid drinks, such as Turkish coffee. Diners have the option of sitting in Sinbad's chilly interior, relaxing outside on the patio or grabbing their food to go. If you need to feed a boatload of people, Sinbad's offers catering services as well. Don't be dissuaded by Sinbad's lack of alcohol, because after-hours hookah nights go from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sinbad's is open for meals Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon to 9 p.m.
