If anyone deserves the title "survivor" is former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. A mass shooting on Jan. 8, 2011, where she was shot in the head, seemed to have only made her stronger. She pulled through, with Tucson witnessing her healing step-by-step. Now she tirelessly fights for gun control, tolerance and peace in her community and around the country. Gabby, there are no words or memorial that come close to the admiration we feel for you.
