There's nothing like a good dirty martini--not a saltwater martini, or a martini with 8,000 olives: just a nice, pretty, cloudy drink. It's not asking too much, is it? No, at least not at The Shelter, where it is possible to get a decent dirty martini without tutoring the bartender. Every time. Some praise The Shelter for its huge selection of crazy ingredients, enabling them to fashion nearly every flavor martini imaginable. But what's important is that the folks behind the bar at The Shelter can reliably sling a simple, lovely, olive-infused dirty martini at the drop of a hat. Ah, bliss.
