STAFF PICK: Dessert temptation doesn't have to mean ostentation. A fair measure of old-fashioned cinnamon-sugar can match the decadence of chocolate ganache, mascarpone cheese, fruit coulis and edible flowers any day, at least in our book. Especially when it's adrift a mound of sopapillas, warm, pillowy and grainy with spiced sweetness. At Two Pesos, 811 N. Euclid Ave., a plate of these scrumptious fried puffs costs a trifling $1.06, tax included. Why not go for the cavity and pour on the honey? Only your dentist will disapprove.
