Bear Down Friday

When: Fri., Nov. 25, 1-7 p.m. 2011

Santa arrives on a sleigh to a press conference at 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 25, to highlight an event featuring live music, entertainment, games, prizes, giveaways, family-friendly activities and live-remote broadcasts from 1 to 7 p.m.; free, including parking in the Tyndall garage. Live bands play from 1 to 8 p.m. A pep rally following the press conference at 6 p.m. features the Pride of Arizona Marching Band, Wilbur and Wilma, UA cheerleaders, the pom squad, twirlers and flags. UA coaches make guest appearances. Kids' activities include inflatables, ponies, chalk art, a balloon artist, face- and hair-painting, Be Kind tattoos and more.
