Bead Inspired

When: Fri., Sept. 11, 10 a.m. and Sat., Sept. 12, 10 a.m. 2009

Local glass artists will create unique beads at a bead-making marathon benefiting children coping with serious illness from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Sept. 11 and 12. Free. The event culminates in a reception featuring food, drinks and music at Sonoran Glass Art Academy (633 W. 18th St.) from 7 to 11 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 12. $30. Call 884-7814 for more information.
