B-Sides: Tucson Rock Lottery

LOCAL MUSICIAN SHUFFLE

You might not be the gambling kind, but it seems several of Tucson's musicians from a range of different musical persuasions are. That's because it's time once again for Tucson's Rock Lottery. 25 musicians have been selected to participate this year and will meet the morning of Saturday, Dec. 4 to be divvied up into a random selection of different groups. The makeshift bands will then have the day to figure out a set because that very same night they'll be tasked with performing live in front of an audience. This year's rock lottery class includes Adara Rae, Hank Topless, Justin Valdez, Seth Mauzy, Lasso, Thom Martin, Uma DeSilva and more.

You can check out just what this assortment of musicians is capable of in one day by heading the The Flycatcher on Saturday. The event begins at 9 p.m. (for concert goers, that is). Tucson's Rock Lottery will be benefiting KXCI Community Radio this year, with a $15 donation to the station accepted at the door.
