Re: “Let's All Not Be Surprised That Diane Douglas Opposes Recreational Marijuana Legalization

Marijuana isn't any worse than the drugs that our doctors are prescribing for illness. I don't think marijuana is any better than tobacco though. I used marijuana a little bit growing up in the 1970's. First off it is a weed that is burning that you are putting into your lungs. This smoke you inhale in from marijuana you hold it in before blowing it out of your mouth to get the affects of the drug. Tobacco you breath the smoke lightly in and breathe out. I remember using marijuana the coating the drug would leave on my teeth and the urge to overeat, now that should be considered, tobacco doesn't cause this. I am not saying that tobacco is good for you, but marijuana will have some affect on the lungs as well, being that it is a sticky substance and you are holding this smoke in the lungs way longer than an average cigarette smoker. Just something I observed. In my life time, I have seen more people die of alcohol abuses than a cigarette smoker, this I also observed. The prescription drugs they are giving out to people, which I was also given my doctors was like poison to me, this is also observed. These are personal observations.

Re: “Guest Opinion

There is no reason for suffering. Some diseases are unbearable, and I think that all people should have the right to die in dignity. I believe in euthanasia. I hope to put this in will, so I have no undue suffering and my loved ones will not suffer watching me suffer. If is a painful, terminal condition, why waste time suffering. It is your time to go.

Re: “Pima Supervisors Add Gender Identity, Expression to County's Employment Non-Discrimination Policy

Pima county spending time on this issue, this discrimination should go without saying. Wasting tax people's money on this, I'm sure they could have used their time working on something else. Here we stupidity again.

Re: “Mad About Ducey's 'No Syrian Refugees Allowed in AZ' Comments? Well, There's a Protest in Tucson Thursday

The majority of Tucson's citizens and their government are very ignorant. You should see how the city spends their money. The streets are falling apart, people live in mobile home parks that look like third world countries. A lot of their restaurants, and apartment buildings are putrid. The city doesn't have proper health laws. You can see garbage (old containers and old clothing) thrown in ditches around their city streets, and overgrown weeds (which can eventually cause fires in AZ heat). Made a mistake in having a home built in Pima county, and it is built so bad, it should be torn down and rebuilt. They have no proper building codes. I could keep typing, but you should get my drift, people in Tucson are stupid, they don't know how to take care of anything, not even their own city. Stupid, Stupid.

Re: “Tucson Immigration Attorney: I don't Think Ducey Understands How Refugee Resettlement in the US Works

Why should USA take any chances. I understand that it is the humane thing to do, bring in these refugees, but I don't think the USA should, I don't want to take a chance on these people coming into our country. Then there is the economy, USA doesn't even take care of their own Seniors, and poor and they want to give to possible terrorist. I say "NO." I've had enough.
