"retrorv" must work for the City's law firm. Who else would have known about the jury's instruction? Sounds like you are upset that your closing arguments went a little too far to the left of truth. Maybe you want to re-read the entire document that remanded this back to court.
I wish that there could be an expose about Mike Rankin's tenure and business practices. If you believe that the City Council has an obligation to listen to the community and the facts they have about the water issue in Barrio Viejo, please call your Councilperson. Mr. Rankin puts up walls and one person should not be controlling so much. He does come off as feeling afraid of accuracy and truth when he won't allow city employees to speak to citizens.
The concepts of "fairness" and "do the right thing" certainly aren't part of governmental employee morals. If we operated our business the way the City is addressing this lawsuit with evasive and misleading tactics, we would be out of work. It's a shame the same the City council and their litigators aren't held to higher standards by the public.
