Art for All Souls

Art for All Souls, Saturday, Sept. 20

While many a Tucsonan may think the annual All Souls procession magically brings together more than 100,000 of the cavalera-clad, well, they'd neglect to keep in mind the months of work it takes to make it all happen. Besides the more than 250 volunteers preparing for the Procession of Little Angels on Nov. 8 and the 25th Annual All Souls Procession and Grand Finale on Nov. 9, there's also a need to raise lots of money to pay for the procession costs, such as city barricades and security provided by the Tucson Police Department. This weekend on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 4 to 10 p.m. is the first annual Art for All Souls at Borderlands Brewing Company, 119 E. Toole Ave., where 10 percent of all art sales will go to help pay for All Souls.
