Arizona Underground Film Festival

Screening Room, Friday, Sept. 19 through Saturday, Sept. 27

Arizona's only cult film festival is back with some amazing screenings from Friday, Sept. 19 through Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Screening Room, 127 E. Congress St. The festival's first offering on Friday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. sounds particularly perfect to those at Weekly World Central: "Killers," an action, gore-filled "thriller between a serial killer and a journalist caught in a psychotic game of cat and mouse." Another that sounds particularly fabulous is the Arizona premiere of the documentary "Limo Ride," on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 8 p.m., which sounds like an amazing crazy Southern true-story tale of 10 friends on a New Year limo that ended with being kidnapped and left for dead. Per usual, the festival is outstanding this year, so there's more, lots more. Tickets are $8 general admission and $55 for a festival pass. For tickets and a full schedule, go to azuff.org.
