As a former employee of Pima County Consolidated Justice Court, this is a bittersweet move. There are so many of us that will carry the fond memories of the pink dome for the rest of our days. The new building will be a true asset to the citizens of Pima County. So much effort went into the planning and development of this new court house and I am so happy to see that the people I was so blessed to work with finally have a new and beautiful place to spend their days. The people who staff that courthouse are like family to each other and the Judges are no exception. The new A/V equipment in the courtrooms , the security of knowing the inmates will no longer be in direct contact with the public as well as the much improved access for those with disabilities will prove to be one of the wisest investments Pima Co has ever made.
