All Souls Procession

Thousands of Tucsonans and visitors turn out Sunday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m., to honor those who have gone before. Costumes, painted faces, giant puppets, hand-held artifacts and hand-pulled floats colorfully pay heartfelt or satiric tribute to things, people and events that moved into our past over the last twelve months. Visit allsoulsprocession.org for the route map. Artists and other volunteers are sought to help build the stage; serve as ushers, staging and safety crew; and staff merchandise booths on Sunday, Nov. 6. Stage-building takes place through Sunday, Nov. 6. Merchandise staff shifts are between noon and 10 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 6. Ushers help guide the procession and coordinate via two-way radio. They must commit to one training session and a pre-event meeting on Sunday, Nov. 6. Email allsoulsprocession@gmail.com for complete information and to volunteer. Volunteers are also sought to help design, decorate and build the children's altar for the Procession of Little Angels on Saturday, Nov. 5. Email childrensaltarart@gmail.com for more information and to volunteer.
