Hang in there, Jon. As a fellow photographer, I get the "isn't just knowing your photo is famous enough compensation for you?" all the time. The fact that a little girl was murdered causes many people to go emotionally off the deep end and lash out at the slightest provocation. The media spin on this story is shameful and I'm disheartened that so many people have leapt to the conclusion that another bottom-feeding paparazzi vulture is greedily trying to profit from someone's tragedy when the reality requires thoughtful mental clarity. Sadly, when it comes to an innocent little girl being brutally murdered, the nuances of copyright law gets trampled pretty easily.
