Flake is an embarrassment to Arizona. His Duck-horse question at the current SCOTUS hearings was a slap in the face of Arizonans who actually care what a Supreme Court Justice thinks.
Too bad, in an otherwise well written opinion, you had to throw in all the misogyny. Makeup? Short skirts? What do these have to do with the issues? But, the article is about a woman, so of course, you had to throw these visuals in. Pity.
Identity change goes thru 5 stages:
First, you believe what the dominant culture tells you about yourself
Second, you are getting a hint that it ain't true.
Third, you realize you have been had, and you get mad as h**l.
Fourth, you are still angry, but youbegin educating yourself about what you really are, rather than what you have been told you are.
Fifth, you let the anger go, as you fully integrate to your own new identity. What the dominant culture says is no longer relevant to your own identity.
