MPP's 2016 initiative does not eliminate the current medical marijuana program. The rights of medical marijuana patients will not be affected. The only change to the medical program is that its administration will be transferred to a new department; the AMMA law will not change. Also, MPP's Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana Act will allow adults to grow six plants at their residence.
