What ever does it matter to any sensible person who is to 'blame' for the virus? That is an irrelevance, like me trying to figure out who is to 'blame' for my cancer. It does not matter. The key question should be, why has this been handled so chaotically and inefficiently by the Feds. States have been allowed to pretty much do whatever they want, with little coherent input as to what is necessary. Also key is to break the extreme partisan nature of this government, so I for one would be happy to see McSally consigned to the political wasteland. Kelly is a worthy substitute in my mind, and at least has the welfare of Arizona's citizens more to heart than McSally.

The thing about at least trying to be a rational human being is the ability to practice critical thinking. Any person of even moderate intelligence SHOULD be able to sift thru the dross of 'news' out there and take the kernels of truth that lurk within. Likewise, streaming news is exactly that, streaming news. Yes it is tedious and boring at times, actually a lot of the time, but again, the idea behind it, at least as I have always thought, is that you can dip in every so often and get an update. No need to sit wide-eyed and gullible to swallow all the crap being thrown in your gullet. Even pelicans regurgitate the stuff they cannot digest.
Too many people take too much they are fed as gospel, and this is what truly worries me. The lack of critical thought in our society is something we need to address... I'll work on that and get back to you.

Hey Human Garbage, why does this list you link have to be listed as having happened under Obama? Surely any right thinking person would not want these things to happen under any administration? Pruitt is a nincompoop no matter who he serves under. Thank god he has gone.

Thank you for putting down so eloquently what I have felt a few times with colleagues of mine. I cannot believe that people can be so blinkered, but it seems to be true.

Please keep up the great work. We will prevail.

Thank you for this Pat, it beggars belief that a public servant such as he is can be such a blatant hypocrite and not be called out on it more widely. Ridiculous too that there should be any support for these repeals of sensible laws.

"only a paycheck away" is right for many people. Sweeping these unfortunates under the carpet is no solution. My wife and I tried to help a couple of people recently when the male of the couple was carrying his unconscious partner across the road back to where they were living rough. We asked if we could take them somewhere as the woman obviously needed medical attention, but he said there was nowhere they could go. When I later reached out to several shelters and welfare concerns to ask what could be done in such cases, I received not a single reply. When a supposed civilized society cannot even look after the unfortunates at the bottom of the pile, we are no longer civilized. There are many wonderful people who give their all to help these people, let's help them instead of pretending this problem does not exist.
