Trump told Congress exactly what he needed to provide 1.8 million DACA folks a way forward. The most puzzling thing about it is, the Democrats continue to say they don't know what the president wants. Either the Dems are hard of hearing, or they simply want the DACA issue for the upcoming election. The ball's in their court.
Probably the only good thing about Obamacare is the reality that it did, in fact, derail any attempt at passing the detestable Comprehensive Immigration Reform legislation.
Once John McCain signed on to Schumer's insane Comprehensive Immigration Reform legislation he lost the support of the American people--especially the people of Arizona. Now there is a struggle on the Republican side of the Senate for control of the party. McCain's days are over; he did it to himself. Hopefully what Cruz is trying to do will produce results and the Republican Party can experience a new beginning.
Before they can go forward with anything, they need to end the Anchor Baby problem first. Once that's done, it might make sense to go forward with additional legislation.
