Kingfisher Bar and Grill is not good. My friend and I went there this Spring and left after the appetizers. I agree with the person who said their drinks are way overpriced. Especially in the afternoon, on a weekend! My friend had the mussels appetizer and I had the minutian shrimp, crabless crab cakes. I ate one and left the second one alone. My friend's mussels were tasteless and too chewy. I went to Kingfisher to try a new seafood restaurant in Tucson. I will never go back.
I've eaten at Opa! restaurant twice. The first time was fantastic. The $5.00 beef gyro for lunch was so big I had to get a take home container. It was really good too. However, my second visit to Opa last Saturday, 08/11/12 was not good at all. There seemed to not be enough waiters/waitresses because it took forever for someone to take our drink order, and or appetizer order. Then it took longer to get the ticket. This was on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30pm. If you know you're going to be busy on the weekends, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE WAIT STAFF to cover the busy time! My friend and I left after only having a soda and an ice tea.
