TEP please keep the existing buy back program. If more people convert to roof top solar, TEP will burns less coal and oil to run its steam generators thus saving money. The power line infrastructure already exist. Wheres' the beef? Rooftop solar energy saves TEP money.

The City will now allows high rise apartment building, up to 6 stories high to be built west of campus. Let’s see, first we build the Streetcar called desire, then we change the law to disallow students living together in residential housing, next build a bunch of hi-rise apartment around the U of A. Wow it’s a bonanza, for the out of state developers, the U of A housing dept who gets a cut, the City who gets somebody to maybe ride the stupid street car downtown. Everybody wins except the local landlords, the students, and the taxpayers. Students live together to reduce their living cost while in school, not to have an endless party. This is a bad law and another step closer to building the Socialistic republic of Tucson.
Now the City has ordered several 17 story high rise apartments to be built west of campus they will ensure students do not have a very limited choice on where to live. So, let’s see, first create streetcar called desire, then create a law to disallow students living together, next build several apartment buildings next to the U of A, then finally wipe out all remaining single family rentals around campus. It’s a guaranteed money making scheme. Out of state developers create short term jobs, U of A creates another income stream, and the city gets somebody to ride the stupid street car down town. Further the students are better controlled. Bravo, another step closer to Socialism in Tucson. Students live together to reduce their living cost , not to have an endless party. This is a bad law. But, hold on there is more to come.
