If the grammar sucks it must be a genuine primitive (i.e. AZ teabagger):

"I'd bet you vote for Stalin if he run."

Many of our Forefathers could read in Latin, write in Greek, and compose poetry in French. And this poor, dumb, dirty, modern pup can't even put together one straight sentence in his native tongue. Shameful.

    Jesse (isn't that a girl's name) Kelly?

He never competed in the market place in his life.
Doesn't know a thing about capitalism.
Couldn't cut it in the real world.

He is nothing but a privileged white kid that works for Daddy. He didn't study hard and he couldn't compete with the smart kids. So daddy had to rescue him. And before that? He was on the public dole in the Marines. Everything paid for by the taxpayers. So no private enterprise or initiative HIS ENTIRE LIFE.

Hey here is an idea: How about we cut Jesse's Vet benefits and save us some money? Hell no! Jesse the mooch earned his dole. But apparently not you and I. Even though we worked hard in school, competed hard in the private sector for jobs, and paid into Social Security our whole lives. Something Jesse (isn't that a girl's name) has never had to do. But then what do you expect from an unread rich little white kid? Depth of character? Or lies?

Now this leech wants to get in the real big money: A Congresman's salary and benefits for life. Plus all those kickbacks and under the table lobby money. Bah humbug. Kelly is nothing but a white punk on Fox News dope hoping to suck up easy public tax money for his private use.

    I've stepped in better.
Send this sluggard with the girl's name back to Texas and Daddy where he belongs...

"This was a textbook model of Board malfeasance."

Well put. But I don't think the Board finally "began doing their jobs properly". They were and are fully prepared to use taxpayer money to fund Flores's sinecure. Nor do I think Flores saw the light.

The reason Flores caved is because he knows the local newspaper is going to check up on those "special projects". This a good (local) example for why having an independent press is so important to a Democracy. Sometimes it can put a "stop payment" on graft...

    Regarding the video:

John Huppenthal sets a high bar for imitating a deer stumped by headlights. He can't answer the questions. He is dumbfounded. He tries to retreat into gaseous political rhetoric. He is every bit the babbling bumbling Roman magistrate in a foreign land...

The question asked in the video is one that needs to be asked until a proper answer is given: The GOP believes in local control of school districts. How then is Phoenix telling TUSD what it can/can't teach not a contradiction in what the GOP professes to believe?

The answer, which Huppenthal is too cowardly to give, is simply that it is a contradiction of their beliefs. And is in fact an example of "situational" ethics. Or if you will: If it feels good (for us GOP party members in Phoenix) then do it. The GOP once railed against situation ethics as the morality of goats and monkeys. Now they squeal with pagan glee beneath its banner. Republicans have fallen into the mud and their leaders wallow like swine...

So by all means, keep asking the question. That is, until a straight answers comes out of the Roman magistrates crooked snout...

Proud is posturing for the masses by showing everyone she can bully a bully.
She can't seem to trumpet her triumphalism loud enough:

I' m not afriad (sic) of you...
You can't bully me Mr. Patterson - nice try
I will not back down from this bully who targets women.

    Sorry that stinks false.
Patterson may be a cancerous anal body part, but Proud is a poseur.
It is fraudulently easy to act heroic the moment the whole nation is tuning in on the Patterson story.

It is hard to tell who is more craven here:
Patterson or the poseur screaming her heroics in a twitter-op.

Let's just call it another AZ draw:
That is, like the state, the whole sorry incident sucks from A to Z.

    Dan Gibson writes:

"Thanks, Arizona Legislature, for giving our state another set of expensive court battles to look forward to."

That is true. It is enough to make one think trial lawyers and AZ Republicans are in bed together, doing unimaginably nasty things to each other with tongues and rectums.

The first post begins with a misuse of the word "metaphor" and then decays from there into a boilerplate republican rant. Like the second poster notes: "There is nothing partisan about Cesar Chavez' birthday." I couldn't agree more.

Perhaps the first poster should think about turning off Rush Limbaugh and try opening an American history book. And perhaps too it is time to look into what it takes to rename Pueblo High School: Pueblo Chavez High School.
