    Re: “A Broken Community
Why Is it that Mexican-Americans,'Hispanics, Chicanos - whatever the Polically correct term is in today's world - feel they are constantly being discrimated against- my children were "forced bussed" in the early '80s"..... at the time i never once felt we were being discrimated against - we saw it as their going to a different school - they didn't know nor did we as parents - that "segregation" was ever an issue. So can we please move on so my granchildren can live & learn in a community where no one is "racially profiled".

Depression is a horrible sense of being. We don't know what is "normal". It doesn't go away on its own. Fighting depression, anxiety or panic attacks on a daily basis - strictness the life. But - it is what it is - i thank God everyday that i have such an understanding & loving family.

My Mother's Day is my boys fixing biscuits & gravy - sausage - hash browns - scrambled eggs - at my house - for the family (including 8 grandkids). It beats any restaurant in town!!!!

When you don't know what you don't know ---- there is no getting over depression with a quick fix --- it is passed from generation to generation - however - in today's world - there is medication (which has been my saving grace).

Aardcore, Sir (which I think you are). The newest location of Mr. K's will let those of Tucson who have not yet experienced the great taste of barbeque, in on the secret of the first location at 1830 S. Park Avenue (just before Silverlake). Your fancy talk is not going to do anything to change what is going to be another great addition to Tucson's fine restaurants. I do not agree with you nor do I wish any stories be started without Mr. K doing the talking. I only wish them the best. And, THEY will be very successful!!

There is NO barbeque in Tucson that can stand up to Mr. K's. Honestly, I believe that many Tucsonan's are going to welcome the great taste of Mr. K's "down home" barbeque.
I especially like the ribs. I'm on the band wagon....ride along!
