Once upon a time pre-1968 (I think it as), there was something called a Guest Worker Program....and it worked. People would come to the border, get a worker card that lasted 3 months, and after 3 months they went back to Mexico. They came back again and again and the people who employed them paid for everything--unlike today! My neighbor always had a Mexican nanny/housekeeper who she picked up in Douglas, AZ and took back when the 3 months were up. Then, Congress in their infinite? wisdom did away with the Guest Worker Program and THAT is when the problems started. It's like a snowball that just keeps growing.........

Why not bring back the Guest Worker Program? It worked, and that was long before computers and everything else to keep track of these people.

John Kyl and John McCain haven't got a clue about what needs to be done along the border; they never leave their ivory towers in Phoenix. Maybe if they lived along the border every day and have lived here all their lives as I have, they'd get a clue!
