This is totally inaccurate and irresponsible reporting. In a closed door meeting, Rep. Sanchez asked (not "argued" or "advocated") if it would be prudent to allow another member to serve as a proxy and stand-in for Gabby temporarily during her recuperation, so that her views and interests could be represented. Loretta and Gabby are friends, and Loretta was looking out for her. That is what happened and any other interpretation is ludicrous. Reyes is angry at Sanchez because she challenged him for the Democratic leadership of the committee recently. Get it straight if you have any pretensions of becoming a professional journalist.
