Trying to find order from a chaotic mind is a mistake. If this guy was some kind of hardliner who prescribed to a specific line of thinking it would be one thing. His thoughts are all over the place.

That would be like saying Squeeky Fromme was a Democrat because she tried to shoot Ford. Same thing with that guy who shot up the Holocaust museum this summer. He just is. I don't think he was listening to Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbauh or Mark Levin any more than Ed Schultz, Kieth Obermann, Rachael Maddow or Bill Maher. He was listening to the voices in his own head.

Anyone who can find a clear line of reasoning pointing him toward a specific political party is being disingenuous. I think it's funny that many people are quick to jump and label this guy a tea party supporter with very few clues to that fact, but are petrified about Hassan being labelled a radical muslim terrorist. Hasan came running into a gym full of soldiers firing guns, dressed in Arab garb, and screaming "Allah Akbar !" and all I heard was that he was just crazy and he had no link to Islam.
Hassan conformed to the profile very closely (unlike Loughin), yet those with political gain to be had refused to call him what he is (including our prez). Just my two cents. I'm sure I'll be told I'm a "shill" for the republican party. That's how discourse is held these days in our country.
