We need more guns in the hands of the sane to stop the acts of the insane?

How often does that work out? Did some sane person pull a gun and stop this lunatic?

And what if they had? Who's to say someone else might not have then thought that person was part of the killing, and then pulled their gun?

The maths is simple...

More guns = more deaths.
