Great article. We have lived in the Peck Canyon area for the past 30 years, have hunted quail in the canyon and taken many guests hiking in the area. Now most of our neighbors are federal officers who both live and work in the area. Our only advantage is that the bad guys main goal is to get north of the check point to deliver their loads. They are not interested in staying in the area any longer than necessary. The problem is you never know when they are coming through, night or day. Thanks to all of the Feds who work to keep us safe. No thanks to Janet who is only BS-ing the rest of the country with stories about a 'secure' border. Love to take her hiking in Peck Canyon.
