In case you haven't noticed America is in crisis. We can't support our own much less illegals. They don't necessarily take our jobs but they use our systems and that costs tax dollars. Do the math. Crime rates in cities like Houston are up because of crimes by illegals - yep that costs us money too. Illegals need to get legal and contribute to the good ole America system or get out. We aren't all that rich anymore.
Interesting poll. I live in Austin TX and we have lots of illegals. You can't round all of them up and actually I could care less if they stay since it's impossible to control them but I don't want to support them. I think that is reasonable. Why should my tax dollars support them if they aren't putting into the system? America is in crisis in large part due to this - our backs are being broken. Maybe if for once America started saying NO they would either contribute to the system or get the hell out. When did we start supporting such blatant breaking of laws? I hope Texas enacts SB 1070 because at some point we have to start insisting on accountability.
