My boyfriend and I went there on a Monday evening. The waitress coughed into her hand, rubbed her nose, and then picked up my "texas toast" with the same hand (unwashed and ungloved of course). She saw nothing wrong with it when I brought it to her attention. She hadn't a clue. On top of that, she was standing in the back with her armpit stretched over another patrons beans and picking up yet more toast with the same unwashed coughed on hand. I won't be back. They need a surprise health inspection.
The food is different and great tasting. We had the catfish, shrimp, crawfish etouffee, and pecan pie. The pie is to die for. The service was wonderful. The staff is friendly (suggestioon? lose the short olde man). We'll definitely go back a lot.
