This is an excellent explanation of the Tucson Families Free and Together initiative. I strongly encourage all Tucson voters to vote YES on Prop. 205!

I encourage everyone in AZ LD3 to vote for Sally Ann Gonzales for State Senate. Gonzales has a solid record of serving her constituents. She has the legislative experience necessary to make her an effective advocate for LD3 in the State Senate. I have never been more impressed with a community leader; Sally Ann Gonzales has earned our vote and support!

Alma Hernandez is running a great campaign focused on the issues important to AZ-LD3. She has definitely earned my vote. Go Alma!!

    Re: “Editors Note
Once again, the Tucson Weekly is spreading Grijalvista talking points instead of doing actual journalism. If you actually took the time to look into the facts, instead of believing the lies and excuses of the Grijalva Political Machine; you might actually learn something!

    Re: “Guest Opinion
It is a well established fact that Kacey Carleton along with the owners of Pat's Chili Dogs, and the owners of Unique Trends Hair Salon tried for over a year to change the Barrio Hollywood Neighborhood Association bylaws to limit residents to ONE VOTE PER HOUSEHOLD. I personally witnessed these events and for Kacey Carleton to write a guest editorial claiming it never happened is an outrage. Kacey Carleton continues to lie about the good people of Barrio Hollywood and claim we are racist against her because she is white. The reason people in the barrio do not like her, is because of her condescending attitude and disgusting reprehensible

When neighborhood residents organize themselves to take back their neighborhood association from outside agitators, it is not called mob rule, it is democracy in action.

Neighborhood residents having control of their own Neighborhood Association is not a radical or even a new idea. Thank you to the Tucson Weekly for actually sending a reporter to witness the events she was writing about. The Weekly was the only print media to do so.
