    Re: “Noise Fight
I do not live in any flight path/buffer. I do not live in a vicinity box. I live 7.5 miles from the base. I have frequent Military flights over me. They are often very low. They are almost always under 1000 feet. They wake me up on work nights. My windows/house frequently shake from these flights. I live next to an elementary school. Being outside is often impossible due to ear ringing noise. My neighborhood is not in anyone's survey due to no flight path/buffer over us. I/WE ARE ALREADY IMPACTED.

This article is RIGHT. Your vote was WRONG. Even Janet Napolitano said that Homeland Security did not want this vote to go pass.

Ron, this article is right. Your vote was wrong. Even Janet Ñapolatano said to vote no on this issue.

    Re: “Guest Commentary
In this town people who work in schools do so for the love of teaching our youth... not for the love of economic benefit. A person who answers the phone for the city of Tucson makes more money than most people in education. TUSD and other school districts in this valley are low wage payers. Servers at a good restaurant take home more money than school staff. The beginning wage, last I looked, was $8.80 an hour for classified staff... so many must work second and even third jobs. At $8.80 hr, times 30 or 35 hours week for half a year equals poverty. Certified staff make more - but many also must have second jobs inorder to survive. We are a community that does not value education.

    Re: “Noise vs. Jobs
The F35s create a 9 mile sound wave, per AF. The F35s are louder at 2,000' elevation than a F16 landing, per AF. The whole community would need sound attenuation. F35s mask the sound of Fire Trucks, Ambulances & Police Cars Sirens, per Federal db reading info. The F35s create Acoustical Vibrations that crack masonry buildings, per AF. I live 8 miles from base. I do not live in a Flight Path. Yet loud jets fly over throughout the sleeping hours, and if they do not wake us up, the car alarms (from the vibrations) wake us. We want this?

    Re: “Noisy Neighbor?
There will be no sound of freedom to hear if we are all deaf. That is what the f35 does. It causes deafness in people, animals etc. Shame on us. At least the Dutch care.
