Some Republicans are asses and hypocrites. When Bush was President they kept saying that you should respect the office of the President even if you don't agree with him. But then they call the President a Liar in public. Some have said they hope he fails. Some have said that if he loses on health reform he'll be broken, revealing their real motive for opposing it. They have no respect for the office of the President unless it's a Republican President.
I just read (Infants in Need). I was floored that services like this are being cut but people and companies are donating thousands for fire works. If they have all this money to throw around, there are more important things to donate to than fire works. I like fire works too, but I'd rather see these companies and individuals help the city with these social services for the poor and children, than see fire works.
