TGP is VIOLATING A CITY ORDINANCE!!!,if anyone else did this they would be put in JAIL!!! What this is plain and simple is a case of Tgp's ownership having PCAC and the South Tucson city council in their backpockets.Why can't people SEE WHATS REALLY GOING ON HERE,TOTALLY CORRUPT FROM THE STATE AND TRACK OWNERSHIP RIGHT DOWN TO THE DEADBEAT TRAINERS WHO SUPPOSEDLY CARE FOR THE GREYHOUNDS ON A DAILY BASIS!!! WHEN Phoenix Greyhound Park closes it's doors Dec.19th the HELLHOLE known as Tucson Greyhond Park will REIGN as the only dog track in the state of arizona.Let's ALL WORK TOGETHER AS HARD AS WE POSSIBLY CAN TO MAKE SURE THAT TGP JOINS PGP IN OPERATING NO LONGER!!!
Not only is the greyhound industry littered with corruption,deception,cruelty and ABUSE at it's highest level,they have the ARIZONA LEGISLATURE in their back pocket as well!!Keep digging Tim you are only beginning to scratch the surface of "THE CESSPOOL OF CORRUPTION" KNOWN AS THE GREYHOUND RACING INDUSTRY.
When I was a trainer at TGP it was like "THE WILD WEST",no rules, booze prostitutes,your DRUG OF CHOICE it was like living in ANOTHER WORLD!!!But as long as you didn't break any ADOR rules and statutes and had a racing license you had a FREEHAND to do pretty much whatever you wanted to.Abuse, neglect, cruelty were the NORM at Tucson Greyhound Park and Nobody did a thing about because they didn't want to lose their booking at the track.Keep up the pressure on these CROOKS because sooner or later they WILL!!! do something criminal enough to get them shut down for GOOD!!!
Canola oil, corn syrup,WHATEVER!!! you want to REALLY KNOW what the DOPES and MORONS are trying to get away with.Plain and simple they're trying to get away with feeding the PET OR ADOPTION kennels with the LEAST AMOUNT OF MEAT OR MEAL AND TRYING TO SUPPLEMENT IT WITH CANOLA OIL.How bizzare is that,also why are syringes in the kennel that houses greyhounds that are up for adoption!!! All of this is that continues to go on at TGP borders on CRIMINAL, and if PIMA COUNTY or SOUTH TUCSON,or whoever doesn't want to take responsibility then maybe people should inform the State Attorney General with what is going on and look into the possibility of filing crimal charges against TGP.
If everyone is outraged by this article by Mr.Vanderpool,why don't you try to do something ABOUT IT!!Nothing works better in a situation like this than Bad Publicity.Make your feelings felt with PROTEST SIGNS,picket in front of the compound where the filthy,disgusting living conditions for these beautifull animals exist.Let the management and ownership see firsthand the displeasure of the public,and that violations of this EXTREME will not be TOLERATED any longer.
