Diplo and 2 Chainz are Coming to Tucson
So, there's a new music event coming to town on April 19, and one with two solid headliners. The Midway Music Festival is an all-ages show at the Slaughterhouse (1102 W. Grant Rd.), with 2 Chainz (who played a sold-out show at the Rialto September of last year), Diplo (who played Congress in 2009, I think?) and other acts apparently to be announced. Plus, there will apparently be carnival rides and games, which will either be fun or another way to hand your money over in exchange for a few moments of entertainment, depending on how you see it. Tickets go on sale Monday, but it doesn't appear prices have been announced.
