CD2 Update: McSally Now Leads Barber By 1,293 Votes
With Pima County tabulating another 8,400 or so ballots in the CD2 race today, Democratic Congressman Ron Barber closed some of the gap that Republican Martha McSally opened up earlier today when Cochise County results came in. McSally now leads the race by 1,293 votes.
Pima County Recorder F. Ann Rodriguez delivered another 23,500 early ballots to the elections department for counting and she will begin verifying about 10,000 provisional and conditionally provisional ballots tomorrow. An unknown number of them are in CD2.
