The
Carrie remake is hitting theaters this weekend, and I'm glad Hollywood is doing it. This day and age doesn't need new, original ideas because people like familiar stuff. It's the same reason why people love fast food. It makes life easier when food is sorted by a number and preheated. I think we all know the story behind
Carrie, but here's the trailer if you don't.
I have seen the original 1976 Brian De Palma film and read the book. Not only has graphics and storytelling changed since the original film, but so has bullying. I hear this remake will touch on internet bullying and things young people face on a daily basis. I'm not a big horror movie buff, but I do enjoy Chloe Moretz and Julianne Moore.
Here's the best PR I have seen for a movie in a long time.
