For some reason, I've been invited to perform (?) some brief monologues tonight at Beowulf Alley as part of the Tucson Improv Movement's show Shoe Box tonight at 7 pm, if that's the sort of thing that might interest you. Somewhat more seriously, I'm certain the other people involved (including Mishell Livio from KFMA) will be quite funny, since they practice this stuff and I'm going to try to just stay out of the way. Should be a good time.
Adding to my general unease about this whole thing, the example I received of what to expect was the video above, an episode of Upright Citizens Brigade that aired on Bravo in 2005. The person doing what I'm supposed to do tonight? TINA FEY. Oh sure, I'll just be as funny as Tina Fey. No problem. Sigh.
