LeBron James, You're Not Helping

I decided this morning that I needed to get over my (I believe to be somewhat justified as a Cleveland sports fan) extreme dislike of LeBron James. First of all, I'm sure he doesn't care. Second, he earned the title last night, somehow dragging a basketball team that used the walking corpse of Mike Miller in key game moments to a 4-1 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Third, he seems to actually have learned some lessons from last year's egomaniacal debacle, telling ESPN that winning a championship was harder than he thought, seemingly expressing some regret for announcing when he signed with Miami that the team would win seven titles.

Then, he tweets the above message this morning, and of course, he should be excited for reaching the pinnacle of his sport, but I realize it's probably more fun for me to think of the guy with a "Chosen One" tattoo as the villain. Feeling shitty at the end of sports seasons comes with the territory as a Cleveland fan, so this isn't all that much different. You still suck, LeBron, and I think I can feel that way while begrudgingly acknowledging your talent and what it took to win the title. Like I've done for decades, I can start looking forward to another likely disappointment (the Indians are still a half game up on the White Sox! The Brandon Weeden era for the Browns!) in another sport.

Oh, you say that LeBron was rapping with LMFAO last night about "haters being quiet"?

Congrats, jackass. Hope you never win another.

UPDATE:

I feel your pain, pal. I get it.
