Important Website Informs Us That the New Bon Iver Album Is Amazing

It's been three years since Justin Vernon's music project under the name Bon Iver released the album For Emma, Forever Ago, but since then, it's been a pretty wild ride for Vernon, recording tracks with Kanye West and performing with the soft-rock supergroup Gayngs. According to indie tastemaker Pitchfork, Bon Iver's new self-titled album is worth the extended wait, giving the album a 9.5, the highest grade for an album since Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Also, this album is apparently 1.4 better than the band's first in Pitchforkland, for what that's worth.

It's definitely an interesting listen, folky at times, but also bursting with energy and noise at others. It's definitely more interesting on first listen than For Emma..., at very least, and I might personally enjoy the track "Holocene" as much as any song I've heard so far this year. If you can't wait for the album to be released tomorrow, it's streaming courtesy of the New York Times via the widget above.
