New Farmers' Markets
Local farmers’-market organizer Ed Dubis has started two new markets.
A new farmers’ market opened last Tuesday at Ventana Plaza, on the corner of Sunrise Drive and Kolb Road, says Dubis. Vendors there sell organic produce, prepared foods, beauty products and crafts from 2 to 7 p.m., every Tuesday.
Dubis has also established a market at the Voyager RV Resort at the intersection of Kolb Road and Interstate 10. Its hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursdays.
