From the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church:
Confused about the Ethnic Studies program? Want to understand what it is, what it does, and the impact it has on students?
You've read about the protests, you've seen the video footage, you're aware about the controversy surrounding TUSD and the state of Arizona regarding the Ethnic Studies program. Augustine Romero, Phd., parishioner and "architect" of the Ethnic Studies program, and a panel of experts will be at MHT to discuss the program with factual information about its accomplishments.
A 15 minute version of the film, Precious Knowledge, which premiered at the Fox Theater, will also be part of the presentation. Don't miss this opportunity to go beyond the sound-bites!
