The Range just checked in with Alison Harrington, pastor of the Southside Presbyterian Church, who is at the Tucson Unified School District Headquarters with other clergy leading a vigil before the governing board votes tonight on ethnic studies.

About 10 minutes ago, the clergy were asked by police to move off TUSD property near the entrance to the building, where the clergy had placed a large banner of the Virgin de Guadalupe and crosses against the building.

"So now we’re on the sidewalk which is public property," Harrington said.

"We just had a bomb-sniffing dog come by. The police here are in full force and regalia. They look like SWAT."

Oh joy.
