Speeches Are Better With Charts

While the State of the Union address isn't much more than an extended pep rally at times, it's still a huge event on the political calendar, setting the tone for what the President wants to accomplish in the year ahead.

The Obama White House has really upped the social media/internet presence of the presidency, possibly not always matching up with the content of what they're presenting, but they're extending that technology kick to the State of the Union with a site that with offer "an enhanced viewing experience" with "charts, graphs and other content" simultaneously with the speech. Might be worth checking out, even if only as footnotes to see where he's getting the stuff he's saying.
