CD8: First Televised GOP Debate on Arizona Illustrated

Posted By on Wed, Apr 7, 2010 at 9:42 AM

The four Republicans seeking to unseat Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords—Jonathan Paton, Jesse Kelly, Andy Goss and Brian Miller—did their first televised debate last night on Arizona Illustrated.

Watch it after the jump.

And don't forget: This Sunday, April 11, Arizona Public Media is hosting forum on the sales-tax proposition on the May 18 ballot at the UA Stevie Eller Dance Studio at 6:30 p.m.

Arizona Illustrated anchor Bill Buckmaster will moderate the “Arizona Sales Tax: Fix or Folly” and your Range scribe, Jim Nintzel, will join the Arizona Republic’s Linda Valdez and KVOA-TV's Tom McNamara to question the panelists, who will include Ann-Eve Pedersen from the Arizona Education Network and Farrell Quinlan, the Arizona state director of the National Federation of Independent Business.

Stan Reynolds, Vice Dean of the Eller College of Management, will also guest on the forum as a neutral economist.

If you can’t make it in person, the forum will air live PBS World (Channel 27.3, Cox 83 and Comcast 203) and be streamed on the azpm.org Web site.

You’re invited to submit questions for the show via e-mail
