The downtown branch of the Pima County Public Library has made some changes: The circulation desk has been moved 10 feet over to where the computers were, and the computers have been moved 10 feet over to where the circulation desk was. Also, the book drop is now twice as far from the entrance. Are these the same planners who recently redid my Fry's? Because I can't find the Q-tips any more.
It doesn't matter. As humans, we excel at moving things from point A to point B and then back to point A again. Our government does it every time the party in power changes! We're all just hangin' out, doin' stuff, waiting for that big sledgehammer from the sky. It reminds of a passage in one of my favorite books, The Little Prince. When asked what he would do with his extra time if it were no longer necessary to drink, the Little Prince responded: "I'd walk ever so slowly toward a fountain." Which is good, because that's where the book drop is.
