Bronson vs. Branch-Gilby: Do It Baby One More Time

Posted By on Fri, Aug 29, 2008 at 3:31 PM

Pima County Supervisor Sharon Bronson (in office the past 12 years) and her challenger, Donna Branch-Gilby (former vice-chair in the Arizona State Democratic Party), are doing one more debate before the Sept. 2 Democratic primary.

While these ladies often agree on the lovely Sonoran Desert Conservation Plan, they have a few differences in how they plan on getting us through this next period in Tucson desert life. (Hey, I spent an hour yesterday talking with UA Prof. Guy McPherson, so I'm thinking the next decade may not be so swell unless we really get our asses in gear.)

Anywhoo, you can hear Bronson and Branch-Gilby give their pitch one more time on why they should be the next supervisor of District 3--tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 30, at 1 p.m. at the El Rio Neighborhood Center, 1390 W. Speedway Blvd. The event is sponsored by The League of Women Voters and the Tucson Mountains Association.

So go forth Tucson - one more time, before Sept. 2.
