Time to Celebrate

Holy crap! April is pretty much here.

April and October are the months in Tucson in which it's impossible to be bored.

(OK, it may be possible, but you sure would have to work hard at it ... and why in the world would you want to do that?) There is just so much going on.

Flip through the pages of this issue of the Weekly, and you'll find stories about a figurative ton of events—and this just covers the first week of the month. For example:

• In City Week, you can read about the Autism Walk/Run and Resource Fair at the UA on Saturday ... and in Currents, you can read about the walk to benefit the Consuelo Aguilar Scholarship Fund at the UA on Sunday. Two days, two walks, one campus!

• In our arts sections, we're splitting at the seams with listings and stories about theater, the Tucson Glass Festival (which is just heating up; we'll have more on that next week) and all sorts of other happenings.

• In music news, festivals, great shows, CD-release parties and celebrations (like, for example, Plush's post-renovation grand-reopening hootenanny) are happening all over the place. Read all about it here. Of course, we're contributing our fair share to the April events craziness with our very own Spring Club Crawl®, which takes over downtown on Saturday, April 16. You can—no, you should—get your admission wristbands at Zia Records sooner rather than later!

So ... get out, and celebrate the splendid weather. Celebrate our art and culture. Celebrate Tucson!
