If the Bowling Shoes Fit...

San Xavier Beat

April 16, 7:48 a.m.

Someone burglarized a man's front yard while he was sleeping—stealing nothing but a pair of used name-brand bowling shoes, a PCSD report stated.

The victim called the Sheriff's Department when he awoke the next morning, saying he'd thought he heard someone outside at night, but he figured it was the wind because the yard was enclosed by a fence.

That morning, though, he'd awoken to find that his bag of bowling equipment—which he'd previously left near the front porch—was now near the front fence, evidently moved by an intruder.

Instead of taking the whole bowling bag, however (which also contained an expensive bowling ball), the invader had removed only a pair of men's size 7 New Brunswick bowling shoes, valued at about $45.

The victim had no idea who would've stolen the shoes; neither could deputies identify any clues... other than the thief having size 7 feet.
