An intoxicated man in search of romance aggressively demanded entrance to a woman's residence and refused to leave her property, said a Pima County Sheriff's Department report.
The woman in question, who had just moved into her current house, reported that a tall, thin Caucasian male who looked very "disoriented" had knocked on her door and asked where the former residents were. When she said she did not know, the man sat down on her porch and refused to leave. After a while, he walked back to his vehicle, then walked to a nearby abandoned house and then went back to his vehicle. After reportedly doing this four times, he returned to her house, began pounding on her door and tried to enter by physical force. When he realized the door was locked, he got into his car and left.
A sheriff's deputy sighted the subject driving his car a short distance from the woman's residence and pulled him over. The deputy reported that he could tell from the subject's watery eyes and foul-smelling burp that he was intoxicated, but the subject refused to submit to field-sobriety tests, insisting that he had only been sitting in the car and had never moved it. When the deputy described the driving maneuvers he had observed just moments before, the subject replied, "You have a better memory than I do."
The subject admitted he had been drinking wine at the Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club. When questioned about his behavior knocking on the reportee's door, he said he was simply looking for a woman "to have a courtship" with.
The subject was arrested for driving under the influence.

Threats, violence and a breakfast-table outburst resulted in an elderly man's live-in son getting just what he wanted from his parents, according to a PCSD report.
Responding to a domestic-dispute call, a sheriff's deputy made contact with the 90-year-old father, who stated that he had woken up that morning to the unprovoked yelling and cursing of his son, who still lived with his parents and was angry that they had not given him enough money to pay all of his debts. A short while later, while the father was eating breakfast, his son reportedly entered the kitchen and threw a box of cereal at him. The father then went to rest in his bedroom, but the son followed him, pushed him and told him he would cut his throat.
At that time, the subject's mother entered the room and took her son to the bank to pay his debts.
The subject's father was provided with information about victim's rights. No arrests were made, because the son was still at the bank with his mother.
